How to measure your wrist circumference correctly!

Den Handgelenkumfang richtig messen – so geht’s!

Measuring your wrist circumference is a simple yet important way to find the right size for our bracelets. Since we handcraft each bracelet to order, we can easily accommodate your individual wrist measurement.

In this short blog article, we explain how to ideally measure your wrist circumference and thus find the perfect fit for your next purchase.

Step-by-step instructions for measuring wrist circumference:

  1. Preparation:

Before you start measuring, make sure you have a flexible measuring tape. If you don't have one, you can alternatively use a piece of string and a ruler or a folding rule.

  1. The correct position:

Sit or stand comfortably and rest your arm relaxed on a flat surface, such as a table. Your wrist should be at heart level and the back of your hand facing upwards. Make sure your hand and forearm are in a straight line.

  1. Position the measuring tape:

Wrap the measuring tape around your wrist, just above the ankle. Make sure the tape is snug but not too tight to ensure an accurate measurement. If you are using a string, mark the point where the two ends meet and then measure the length of the string with a ruler or tape measure.

  1. Read the measurement:

Then read the number on the measuring tape at the point where it overlaps. This is your wrist circumference in centimeters. If you used a string, measure the length to the mark and note the value in centimeters.

  1. Repeat and check:

Although it may sound strange, our experience has shown that it's useful to repeat the measurement and compare the results. If the values differ, simply take the average of the measurements as the final value.

Now you're perfectly prepared to place your order with us. Simply provide your wrist circumference as a comment (at the end of the ordering process) and we'll make your bracelet in exactly your size.
